Downtown Prince George (formerly the Prince George Downtown Business Improvement Association) was formed to improve the downtown area and business climate. DPG's main objectives are to organize and manage projects and activities such as street scape improvements, coordinated marketing programs, planning and economic development initiatives, special events and lobbying. |

The Prince George Public Library serves about 1,400 customers per day at their two branches. They have more than 50,000 cardholders living across the city and most of the regional district. The library's collection of more than 200,000 items includes DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, ebooks online, and regular books, too. The library also offers free programs, ranging from storytimes for toddlers to beginner computer classes for adults. |

| The Council of Forest Industries is the voice of the British Columbia interior forest industry. COFI companies operate about 100 production facilities in over 60 forest dependent communities in the interior of BC.

The Prince Rupert Port Authority is a local port authority continued under the Canada Marine Act, and Letters Patent issued under the Act, to operate the Port in the Prince Rupert Harbour. They are an autonomous and commercially viable agency, governed by a local Board of Directors with full control over all Port decisions, with a mandate to facilitate and expand the movement of cargo and passengers through the Port of Prince Rupert. |

The Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) is the predominant voice of mineral exploration and development in British Columbia. Established through an act of the BC Legislature in 1901 to represent the interests of BC's mining industry, the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) is one of the oldest industry associations in the province. The Northwest Corridor Development Corporation (NCDC) was officially established as a federal not-for-profit organization in 1998 to raise awareness of Canada’s underutilized northern transportation corridor. From this beginning, NCDC grew into an organization of organizations, both private and public. NCDC Membership includes utilities, transportation companies, manufacturers, labour groups and all three levels of government. |
Service Canada was created in 2005 to improve the delivery of government programs and services to Canadians, by making access to them faster, easier, and more convenient. Service Canada offers single-window access to a wide range of Government of Canada programs and services for citizens through more than 600 points of service located across the country, call centres, and the Internet. |
